Your timeline is the heart of your event. Whether you plan to have a day of planner or have your DJ run the show its best to have a timeline. Your timeline will keep your event on track. All of your vendors can work together as a team and be where they need to be when the time comes. Another benefit from the timeline is to stay within your contract agreements with your vendors to prevent overtime charges.

We are offering a special for couples who may not want a planner but would like a professional timeline. We customize each timeline according to your wishes. Please contact me for more information; click on the calendar tab to schedule your appointment!

Setting Expectations for Your Bridesmaids

Posted on October 1, 2018 at 12:05 AM

Choosing your bridesmaids is an exciting process to planning your wedding day. Some of you may have picked out your bridal party as a child. However, we do need to clear the air with our bridesmaids right away. Let them know a head of time what you expect from them. Take some time and think about how much of the planning process you want them to be a part of, or do you just want them to be there the day of your wedding for support. Its best to let everyone know ahead of time as it will save frustration in the long run.

Being engaged is something special so makes yours remarkable!

Posted on September 19, 2018 at 5:00 PM

The rush of emotions after you said “yes” is probably overwhelming and exciting. I have some fun things to keep in mind during your engagement period.

Starting with your engagement ring. Some couples sit down together and discuss a budget before picking out the right ring. In some cases the groom will allow the bride to pick out her own engagement ring when the go to the jewelers together. This is to ensure she gets something she will want for a life time. However, if you are they type of couple who loves to give surprises than its safe to purchase the ring a head of time before the proposal. If you are the groom and you’re not quite sure what she may like then drop subtle hints to see what she may like, observe what type of jewelry she already has and wears often, keep your eye out to see if she pointed something out to you in a magazine, store, or complemented someone else’s ring or piece or jewelry. Keep in mind her style.

Consider engagement photos. This is a great opportunity to see what photographer you work well with. Pick more than one photographer to test out before you hire one for your wedding day. There may be one you work with better than the other. In addition you will be able to see the quality of your engagement photos, and you can make a better decision down the road on who you may want to hire for the day of the wedding. Engagement photos make great save the date cards and they will be fun to display on your wedding day.

Remember to keep the planning fun, this is a once in a life time moment with the one you love. The best thing to do is set your realistic budget and keep organized. Everything will flow from there. If you are stuck I can get you started.

Wedding Dress Styles, how to choose the right one for you

Posted on September 4, 2018 at 5:00 PM

There are so many styles of wedding dresses to choose from! Here are some quick tips to narrow the selection down. The first thing you need to do is set your budget and stay firm on how much you can spend. If you over spend on your dress you may have to cut costs on something else. Next, look for a dress that fits the style of your wedding and the time of year you’re planning your day. Examples, choose a thin flowing gown for a summer beach theme wedding. For a vintage wedding maybe choose some lace. Overall, you want to feel comfortable; make sure you will be able to breathe, dance and enjoy your big day.
